Omni3D Launches Industrial 3D Printer Factory 2.0 – Update: Now Available

Polish 3D printer manufacturer Omni3D launches its first FDM printer targeted at the industrial market.

15.07.2015: Following two years of development, the Factory 2.0 3D printer has finally been released. The stability of its construction allows for printing at a speed of up to 350 mm per second. Objects of a maximum size of 50 x 50 x 50 cm can be created with a precision of up to 40 microns. The machine features two heads and two extra inputs for additional heads to be added in future. The temperature within the closed building chamber as well as flow of filament is monitored by various electronic parts, ensuring high quality prints. Factory 2.0 can be controlled through its LCD touchscreen, which makes it an easy to operate stand-alone device.

06.07.2016: Update – Factory 2.0 3D Printer Now Available

While Polish manufacturer OMNI3D has first released their Factory 2.0 3D printer about a year ago, they now announced its commercial availability. Companies in the fields of electronics, engineering, automotive and the aviation industry as well as service providers have already used Factory 2.0.

Sławomir Mirkowski, operations and finance manager at OMNI3D, explains:  “The device is of great interest, primarily because of its technical parameters, attractive price, and low operating costs. We estimate that, compared to other industrial solutions on the market, the cost of buying our 3D printer is 4 times lower, and operating costs can be up to 5 times lower—depending on the application. This means the devices can be used by small and medium-sized companies that have not yet been able to afford them.”

The price of OMNI3D’s printer is available on request.
