The provider of metal 3D printing systems One Click Metal has announced its market entry in Turkey. This is made possible through a new distribution partnership with the Turkish manufacturing service provider Tandem. The partnership aims to give industrial users, research institutions, and technical organizations in the country access to compact metal 3D printing solutions that are particularly suitable for prototyping, small series production, and application-oriented research.

Tandem was founded in 2006 and now operates three locations in Turkey. The company is well established in traditional manufacturing industries and distributes several international technology products. According to both partners, Tandem has a nationwide sales network as well as service and application teams with experience in industrial environments. This infrastructure is intended to facilitate the adoption of additive manufacturing with metal powders, for example through system installation, training, and maintenance.

The scope of services also includes a One Click Metal system installed at Tandem, which is used for demonstrations and application trials. Interested parties can thus follow the entire process from powder handling and printing through to post-processing. The systems are designed for an integrated workflow that takes safety requirements for handling metal powders into account while also requiring comparatively little space.

“We are pleased to welcome Tandem as our reseller in Turkey,” says Martin Heller, Global Sales Manager at One Click Metal. “Their strong market position, industry experience, and service capabilities make them an excellent partner to support customers in adopting metal 3D printing technology.”

For the Turkish market, the partnership could broaden access to industrial-grade metal 3D printing. Especially for companies that initially want to use additive processes as a complement to conventional manufacturing, locally available consulting and demonstration opportunities are an important factor.
