Modelling and Rendering with open source software project “Wings 3D”.
Björn Gustavsson, Richard Jones and Dan Gudmundsson have been developing this versatile modelling software since 2001. Wings 3D not only allows to create models but also offers powerful tools like AutoUV-mapping. This free software is available for Windows, Mac and Linux; so almost anyone has free access to 3D modelling. In addition the export format .obj is compatible with 3D printer.
