DETEKT, a provider of industrial additive manufacturing services and systems, will distribute Optomec’s LENS Systems for 3D printed metals as well as Aerosol Jet Systems for 3D printed electronics to the greater China and Taiwan markets.
Optomec Aerosol Jet 3D printers are designed for high-volume production of small, light-weight, high-performance devices that are used in the fields of aerospace, defence or consumer electronics. The proprietary process allows for 3D printing of electronic circuitry and functional components in sizes ranging from 10 microns to several millimetres.
The Optomec LENS 3D printers produce metal parts using a laser to sinter powdered materials. The parts can also be build on existing components for repair and hybrid manufacturing applications.
Michael Kardos, Optomec Vice President of World Wide Sales, said:
“We are pleased to partner with DETEKT to expand sales of LENS and Aerosol Jet systems in Taiwan and to select companies in greater China. DETEKT is a leading provider of industrial additive manufacturing systems and services in Asia with production facilities that meet the stringent quality standards of the medical industry.”
