Pantheon introduces new industrial 3D-printer HS-Pro

With the HS-Pro, Pantheon presents an industrial FFF 3D printer that specializes in high printing speed and mechanical resilience. The machine processes fiber-reinforced plastics such as PA12-CF, PETG-CF or PA12-GF and achieves a productivity of up to two kilograms of material per day. The print area measures 400 × 400 × 300 mm and is aimed at applications in which component size, function and strength are of primary importance.

A closed heating system operates inside the printer, which regulates the build chamber temperature to up to 60 °C. The heated build plate reaches 145 °C, which ensures reliable adhesion even with technical materials. The design of the printer combines a CNC-milled aluminium chassis with stainless steel and acrylic components, which optimizes stability and heat conduction.

A key feature of the HS-Pro is the use of closed-loop servo motors for the X and Y axes. In conjunction with preloaded ball screw technology, the system enables a maximum acceleration of 250,000 mm/s² – a value that also stands out in an industrial comparison. Printing speeds of up to 500 mm/s can thus be achieved without any significant loss of quality.

The choice of materials is clearly aimed at functional components: With carbon fiber-reinforced nylon in particular, the manufacturer was able to achieve mechanical properties in internal tests that come close to cast parts made of aluminum.

The printer is operated via a 7-inch touch display, supplemented by locally running slicing software. The Pantheon Slicer is based on a customized version of Orca and supports multithreading as well as per-feature modifications of support structure, wall thickness or infill. It is controlled via Klipper on an ARM-based computing unit with 8 GB RAM and 32 GB flash memory.

With a total weight of 97 kg, the HS-Pro is no lightweight, but can still be transported through a standard door, according to the manufacturer. The first deliveries are planned for May. The target group is companies with a high demand for robust, large-format components in short production times.
