Pennsylvania State University launches a graduate program to address legal 3D printing issues in the industry

The new course, AMD 597 Legal Issues in Additive Manufacturing, address legal issues arising in the industry starting this summer and integrates multiple disciplines, such as engineering science and mechanics, industrial, and manufacturing engineering, and materials science and engineering.

The course aims to teach fundamentals of legal contracts, intellectual property rights, cyber-security, privacy rights, patent rights and trade secrets in the area of additive manufacturing.
