Personal Desktop Fabrication Machine Versa3D Hits Kickstarter

CreateAll has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Versa3D, a machine that does it all.

The Versa3D combines a 3D printer with a CNC mill and a laser cutter in one enclosure. This machine was developed over the last few years by Richard Hardman. He wanted to build a solution for makers and FabLabs that combines different forms of production methods.

The Versa3D as a 3D printer gives you a build volume of 300x300x300mm, two extruders and speeds up to 300mm/s. The robust design allows for a precise and noiseless movement. The Versa3D is controlled over WiFi and offers features like automated bed levelling and a drag and drop onboard slicing.

But the Versa3D offers also premium features as a 3-axis CNC mill and a 2,5W laser cutter which can work on paper or wood objects up to a hight of 75mm.
