The US company PostProcess Technologies, which specializes in automated post-processing solutions in the field of additive manufacturing, has appointed Jonathon Casey to its Board of Directors. Casey is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Integration and Supply Chain Officer at Nissha Medical Technologies, a global medical device manufacturer. His appointment is PostProcess’ response to the growing demands for scalability and integration in industrial 3D printing.
“Jonathon brings a wealth of strategic leadership and global operations expertise to our Board,” said Jeff Mize, CEO of PostProcess. “His experience scaling complex businesses and driving innovation will be invaluable as we continue to expand our impact as the leaders in automated post-printing in the additive manufacturing industry.”
PostProcess develops systems for the automated removal of support structures, surface finishing and cleaning of components manufactured using various additive processes. The growing industrial use of additive manufacturing, particularly in regulated sectors such as medical technology, aviation and the automotive industry, requires increasingly standardized and reproducible post-processing processes. In this context, Casey’s operational experience, particularly in building integrated supply chains and implementing M&A strategies, is seen as a strategic advantage.
Casey added, “PostProcess is solving critical challenges in additive manufacturing with a thoughtful, technology-first approach. I’m honored to join the Board and look forward to supporting the team as they continue to accelerate innovation in the space.”
The appointment comes at a time of increasing automation in AM post-processing, where traditional manual processes are increasingly being replaced by software-driven and scalable systems. PostProcess is positioning itself as a provider of end-to-end solutions that include both hardware and an adaptive software platform. By strengthening its Management Board, the company is responding to the increasing demand for end-to-end, industry-compatible workflows in additive manufacturing.
