Prodways Launches 3D Printing Division for Luxury, Design, Art and Architecture

3D printing company Prodways has formed the new division called “Les Créations”, covering the sectors luxury, design, art and architecture and dedicated to creative professions with a “Made in France” label.

The new division, formed together with their sister company Initial, will support its clients from the development phase through to the delivery of the 3D printed objects, including manufacturing prototypes, moulds, one-off and series parts. Additionally, Les Créations will handle post-processing with hand-crafted finishing techniques.

The additive manufacturing design and production company Initial is already serving over 150 clients including 25 watch makers and jewellers. The sectors have experienced a growing interest and need in additive manufacturing applications, giving businesses and designers the opportunity to offer personalised and geometrically complex creations.

The Les Création division will also draw resources of the Prodways Group, including the digital team, materials R&D laboratories, the Prodways Materials workshop, design, control and 3D scan studios and other facilities.

“The unique offering of “Les Créations” will enable Initial to enter into a remarkable collaboration with its clients to achieve the levels of perfection and exquisite quality required in the demanding sectors of art, luxury, architecture and design.”
