HotRod Henry SUPERCHARGED – Professional 3D Printer With Retro Looks Hits Kickstarter

It doesn’t happen often that I call a machine sexy but the HotRodHenry SUPERCHARGED from Aye Aye Labs fits this description very well.

The retro-style 3D printer looks like a refrigerator from the 70ties and an American car from the 40ties and 50ties had a lovechild. Just awesome. But you don’t have to be impressed just by its look.

HHS_Red Green Color - perspectiveThe HotRod Henry SUPERCHARGED is the successor of the original HotRod Henry. HotRod Henry shared the looks of the new 3D printer and caught my attention last year at the 3D Print Show in Berlin where I got the chance to talk to Aye Aye Labs founders.

Inside the stylish exterior of the HotRod Henry lies the heart of the 3D printer. And it really is supercharged with professional tools. The huge build volume of the HotRod Henry SUPERCHARGED is 350x350x600mm and its printing speed tops at 450mm/s – that is really really fast. But Aye Aye Labs 3D printer offers also exceptional detailed printing options. The maximum printing resolution is at 50 microns (XY-axis).

HotRod Henry is available in these colours:

You can preorder the HodRod Henry on Kickstarter starting at 5.990€ (around 6.700$). Delivery starts as early as September 2016. If you don´t need the huge build volume you also can choose the HodRod Henry Mini with a smaller build volume of 220x220x220mm starting at 3.390€ (around 3.800$). The shipment for the Mini will start in November 2016.
