3D printer manufacturer Project R3D has announced the start of shipments of the Talos Series. The Talos series are 3D printers for large components.
The new Talos Series aims to set new standards in the large format sector with its print quality and speed. According to Project R3D, the series is aimed at companies in industries such as automotive, aerospace and military.
Features of the Talos printers include IDEX technology for simultaneous printing with two materials, print speeds up to 1000 mm/s without compromising quality, high-precision print quality, large build volumes from 600 to 1800 mm, and an optional enclosure solution.
Since its announcement on August 31, 2023, Project R3D has been working hard to ensure smooth production to make large-format 3D printing accessible to as many companies as possible. As with all flagship models, shipments started on time on October 30, 2023.
According to CEO Joseph Podgorski, the company was able to leverage its experience to build volume production for the large-format printers in record time, with the flexibility to expand. With the start of shipments of the groundbreaking Talos series, Project R3D is setting new standards for 3D printers for professional use.
