Quantica, a company known for its innovative inkjet technology in additive manufacturing, has taken the next step in its development with new leadership and strategic adjustments. Stefan Hollaender has been appointed as the new CEO, bringing with him extensive experience from management positions at companies such as Sony, Microsoft, T-Systems and Formlabs.
Claus Moseholm, former CEO of Quantica, will move to the role of Executive Chairman. In this role, he will focus on strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives, while Hollaender will take over the operational management. This decision comes at a time when Quantica is increasingly focusing its business strategy on industrial manufacturing applications such as adhesives, coatings and functional layers.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stefan Hollaender as our new CEO at this pivotal time for Quantica. His experience in leading global teams and technology aligns well with our expanding strategic focus on high-volume manufacturing applications. Integrating our innovative solutions into existing manufacturing processes requires a unique skill set from both our team and our partners, and Stefan is exceptionally well-suited to guide this effort. He will help us unlock the full benefits of our technology, and I look forward to supporting” comments Claus Moseholm, Executive Chairman.
In addition to the new focus on industrial markets, Quantica remains true to its existing products. The NovoJet OPEN platform, a customizable R&D system, will continue to be used for research and process development. The company is currently working in cooperation with Fraunhofer IPA and the iPrint Institute on the development of applications for industrial customers.
Quantica’s strategic repositioning demonstrates how the company is evolving to seamlessly integrate innovative technologies into existing manufacturing processes. With the support of experienced partners and a focused business strategy, Quantica is positioning itself as a key player in additive manufacturing and beyond.
