Raise3D has expanded its range of 3D printing resins with six new materials specifically developed for the DF2 Resin DLP Solution. These new resins are tailored to meet a variety of technical requirements and support applications such as high-speed prototyping, elastic parts with low Shore hardness, as well as high-strength and impact-resistant components.
With these additions, the portfolio now includes a total of 15 materials suitable for demanding prototypes and low-volume production. The range offers options for high temperature, toughness, and precision, complemented by various color choices such as clear, gray, white, and apricot.
The DF2 Resin DLP Solution is distinguished by its seamless workflow management. Using RFID-enabled smart build plates and integration with the ideaMaker slicing software, printing, washing, and curing parameters are automated. This ensures consistent quality while reducing labor costs and improving production efficiency.
A notable feature is Raise3D’s Open Material Program (OMP), which provides customers access to established resins from renowned manufacturers such as Henkel and Forward AM. Nine resins in the portfolio were developed in collaboration with these partners and validated under rigorous standards. The corresponding templates in ideaMaker offer comprehensive parameters for the entire workflow, including washing and curing steps, and are available starting with software version 5.1.4.
The new materials include Raise3D Draft Grey V1 Resin for fast prototyping and Forward AM Ultracur3D EL 4000 and EL 60 for elastic applications. Additionally, Henkel expands the portfolio with resins like LOCTITE 3D 3843, a semi-flexible material with high impact resistance, and LOCTITE 3D PRO410, a high-resolution polymer for precise prototypes.
According to Edward Feng, Raise3D’s Global CEO, “Enabling a wide variety of applications through a comprehensive resin portfolio has been our strategic focus for DF2 resin DLP solution. Raise3D remains committed to delivering more engineering materials tailored to meet the evolving demands of the 3D printing industry. “
