The Russian 3D scanner developer and manufacturer has introduced its latest product, the RangeVision Smart 3D scanner.
The device contains two industrial cameras (1.3 MP), which enable to scan with markers for automatical alignment. According to RangeVision the easy to calibrate scanner is a perfect low-cost solution for applications in design, classrooms or for small enterprises. Smart is available in three different colours and comes with a travel case. Objects from 4 cm to 1 m in size are scanned within 7 seconds and the files can then be exported in the common formats STL, OBJ and PLY.
Technical details
The Smart 3D scanner will be available at resellers from February next year. RangeVision recommends an end-user price of € 1.990 excluding tax.
