The British company Rem3dy Health, based in Birmingham, has secured £9 million in funding. The capital will be used to expand production capacity at its Digbeth site and to facilitate international expansion, particularly in the US and Asia. Rem3dy Health specializes in the development and manufacture of customized dietary supplements produced using 3D printing.

Under the brand name “Nourished,” the company produces vegan gummies consisting of seven layers that combine various vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. The composition is created individually for each customer based on health data, dietary habits, and personal goals. 3D printing makes it possible to precisely dose the nutrients and combine them in a single product. In contrast to conventional tablets or capsules, personalized micronutrient combinations can thus be manufactured economically in small quantities.

The current financing round includes £500,000 from the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund, supplemented by investments from Japanese health group Suntory, French pharmaceutical chain UPSA, and other institutional investors. In total, Rem3dy Health has raised around £19 million in capital, which has already enabled the construction of three production facilities and expansion into international markets.

Rem3dy Health was founded in 2019 by US entrepreneur Melissa Snover, who wants to use her idea to bridge the gap between traditional dietary supplements and digitally personalized nutrition. According to Snover, the new capital will primarily be used to scale up production and develop sustainable packaging solutions.
