Replique establishes subsidiary in Italy and expands European manufacturing presence

Replique, a provider of an industrial on-demand production platform, has established a new subsidiary in Milan. With Replique Srl, the Mannheim-based company aims to expand its presence in Southern Europe and operate closer to European customers. The goal is to tailor its range of digital manufacturing services—including 3D printing, CNC machining, and injection molding—more closely to regional requirements.

According to co-founder and COO Henrike Wonneberger, the expansion is a strategic step to consolidate Replique’s international position. The company wants to support Italian industrial companies more directly in the implementation of spare parts and series production projects in the future. The new location is intended not only to improve customer proximity, but also to facilitate access to partners and suppliers in the Italian market.

Renato Marelli, Technical Sales Manager at Replique in Italy, emphasizes the country’s potential: Italy has a long industrial tradition and is also characterized by a high willingness to innovate. This means that the region offers ideal conditions for advancing additive and hybrid manufacturing solutions.

Series production remains a key growth driver. According to Replique, the average order quantity is now around 100 parts – about five times as much as in the previous year. Series applications account for about two-thirds of the business volume, while custom-made products and engineering services cover the rest. The company supplies customers from industries such as rail, mechanical engineering, medical technology, and pharmaceuticals.

Replique’s global network now includes over 350 qualified manufacturing partners covering a wide range of processes – from additive manufacturing and CNC to casting and injection molding.

Replique will present its platform at the Formnext 2025 trade fair in Frankfurt (Hall 12.1, Booth B95). Solutions for secure digital storage, decentralized manufacturing, and quality assurance will be on display. This underscores the company’s commitment to making supply chains more resilient and sustainable.
