Roboze Launches Roboze One +400 3D Printer for Advanced Polymers Including PEEK and PEI

Roboze announces the official market launch of its new Roboze One+400 3D printer, providing its customers with an exceptionally flexible solution in the field of FDM 3D printing of advanced thermoplastics. The new model by Roboze gives designers around the world access to a technically and economically optimized solution for several applications.

Roboze One+400 can employ up to 12 different materials. These include PEEK, PEI and Carbon PA (Nyon6 filled with carbon fibers), which are considered very important for both the industrial and medical sectors. Furthermore, thanks to the support material on a second extruder it is also possible to build shapes that are more complex, with more challenging geometries. This combines into a one-of-a-kind solution for advanced applications in Medical, Aerospace, Military & Defense, Automotive and other sectors of manufacturing..

“By enabling the use of advanced materials, we offer users a powerful yet affordable solution, together with the advantages of an ‘easy-to-use’ desktop 3D printer. This will open up a wide range of new possibilities, especially for SME’s for a variety of applications in several different industries requiring only a limited amount of investments,” said Alessio Lorusso, CEO, Roboze.

The new and advanced model Roboze One+400 shares the mechatronics related to the movement of the X and Y axes with its predecessor, the Roboze One 400. This technology, known around the world as “Belt-less-System”, is unique and patented by the company. By expanding its capabilities to materials such as PEEK & PEI, this technology redefines the concept of “desktop 3D-Printing”, adding a new digital drives with integrated safety thanks to its 32-bit processor and touch screen on-board controls

With the One+400, Roboze is introducing the next level of 3D printing technology, based on the summation of elements which are expression of high quality, accuracy and reliability, setting a new standard in the industry.

LET’S SEE IT UP CLOSE:

Mechatronics
Roboze is not just a machine assembler but internally produces 70% of its 3D printers thanks to the CNC machines present in its production facilities.
All this translates into a greater stability and reliability of its machines. It mechanics are entirely made in Italy, need very little maintenance and are built to last over time.

Materials
The Roboze materials are internally engineered internally through collaborations with research centers and Italian/European institutes of technology. Roboze does not make the material fit its machine but rather does follows the exact opposite approach: after designing the material, based on actual market demands of the market, the R&D department develops and produces the machine to suit the material.

Extruder
The new Roboze One+400 extruder was also designed and manufactured by the company’s engineers not only to reach maximum temperatures of 400°C but it also to prevent all those annoying flaws linked to the phenomena of filament jamming and stringing.
The extruder obviously cannot be the only factor that makes it possible to print with advanced polymers. Evaluating other details related to the environment within the chamber, electronics and mechatronic of the machine, the Roboze team managed to create an ideal solution for the management of these materials during printing. Simply softening the material does not necessarily mean it is possible to print with it. There are several other factors related to the nature of the material itself, that come into play, which is the reason why, until now, these materials were exclusively up used through other 3D printing technologies.

Personalized assistance
Last but not least, Roboze prides itself for the high level of customer service and after sales support. The team establishes personal relationships that enable rapid solving of any issue related to the use of the machines, pre-release slicing, processing of each piece, materials, benchmark settings, software configuration, print process optimization, and tips for post-processing.
Roboze works through an on-going partnership with its customers by sharing information and tips to achieve the best performance with every product.
