Visitors of the TCT Asia taking place in Shanghai last week had the possibility to take a look at the first ever 3D printed bridal dress.

Shanghai based 3D printing design company Xuberance surprised with a custom bridal dress, designed based on the bride’s 3D scan and 3D printed in nylon using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technology. The production taking a full week cost about $ 3,000.

The dress was actually worn by bride Leirah Wang and designed by her now husband Stevan Ma, who are both leading the Xuberance design studio.

The exhibition additionally featured 3D printed wedding accessories and decorations in gold and white. Should you wish to buy one of Xuberance’s 3D printed veils available in their online shop, you’ll have to pay around $ 3,200.
