SCOFF3D Wants To Be The First Cafe For 3D Printed Food

Scoff3D founder Martin Furze wants to open a café where he serves 3D printed food and additionally wants to offer his 3D printers for catering purposes.

That’s why he turned to Kickstarter where he seeks for the financial support needed to realise his project. He wants to get to 400.000 Pounds in time for Valentines Day. Martin also has plans to sell 3D food printers at the café.

If you choose to support the campaign you´ll get a thank you note on the wall of thanks and a keychain, bumpersticker or t-shirt, depending on how much you invest.

From the Kickstarter campaign:

Let’s unravel the exciting world of 3D printing and explore the enchantment that is produced from exceptional edible creations. Imagine this….walking into a café and sitting at a smart table where you are able to select your chosen treat from a wide gallery of prints to then see it being printed before your eyes….or how about hiring a printer for a birthday and have it sitting pride of place leaving something for everyone to talk about (and eat!)….or better yet, using our services to cater for your wedding or anniversary and supply unique sweet sculptures and place settings!?
