The Italian company Sharebot announced the Sharebot Andromeda – a professional SLA 3D printer.
In contrast to the Sharebot Voyager WARP the Sharebot Andromeda uses a laser diode instead of the DLP technology for the polymerisation. The laser has a wavelength of 405nm and can produce details from 30 to 200µm.
The build volume of 250x250x250mm gives the user a lot of space for big prints. The Sharebot R&D has developed resins for jewellery, dental applications and for prototyping.
