SKYPEN: Dual Colour 3D Printing Pen for $ 19 on Kickstarter

Taiwan-based company SKY-Tech is currently promoting their SKYPEN DUAL 3D printing pen on Kickstarter.

The company, who also recently launched their affordable Hermes desktop 3D scanner, is now offering a 3D printing pen starting at $ 19. SKYPEN can load two filaments, either ABS or PLA, at the same time and users can switch colours simply by pressing a button for 3 seconds. Additionally, the pen comes with a tip to remove support structures from 3D prints. A protection head makes the device safe to use for children.

SkyTech has currently already raised over $ 12,000 of their $ 50,000 funding goal, pledged by 471 backers who pre-ordered the 3D printing pen. The campaign runs through August 20 and there are still early bird offers available for $ 19.
