Snapmaker, known for multifunctional 3D printing solutions, and Polymaker, a leading supplier of 3D printing materials, have announced a strategic partnership. The aim of the collaboration is to develop innovative solutions for the 3D printing market. The first result of this cooperation is the SnapDryer, a device for optimizing filament storage.
The SnapDryer has been specially developed to maintain the quality of filaments and avoid problems caused by moisture. By drying the material under optimum conditions, printing errors can be reduced and precision improved. The device is equipped with 360-degree air circulation, a tight sealing system and a modular design that accommodates spools of up to one kilogram. Old or wet filaments can thus be made ready for use again, which is particularly beneficial for precise printing projects.
The collaboration between Snapmaker and Polymaker combines the expertise of both companies. Snapmaker contributes its experience in the development of multifunctional production equipment, while Polymaker is known for its innovative filament technologies. The SnapDryer is compatible with Polymaker’s existing PolyDryer system, allowing users to easily integrate both devices into their workflows.
The device will be available from November 29, 2024.
