With the Sovol SV06 Plus ACE, Sovol is launching a new FDM 3D printer on the market that is designed to impress with its Klipper firmware, high printing speed and extended control options. The printer is aimed at both hobbyists and professional users.
The SV06 Plus ACE achieves a maximum print speed of 500 mm/s with an acceleration of 15,000 mm/s². This is supported by a stable Z-axis design with coupling rods, which reduces vibrations and improves print quality. The integrated intelligent resonance compensation ensures even surfaces and minimizes printing errors.
With a build volume of 300 × 300 × 350 mm, even larger models can be easily implemented. The hotend reaches temperatures of up to 300 °C, while the heated printing plate offers a maximum temperature of 100 °C. This allows a wide range of materials to be processed, including PLA, PETG, TPU and PVA.
The printer uses Klipper firmware, which enables improved control and optimization of printing parameters. All important settings can be made via the 4.3-inch touch display. The printer also supports WiFi, LAN and USB, allowing updates (OTA updates) to be installed directly via the network.
A built-in camera enables real-time monitoring and remote control. In combination with the Obico app, users can monitor the printing progress and automatically detect malfunctions.
