Steakholder Foods receives order from Bondor Foods

Steakholder Foods, a specialist in food 3D printing, announced an order from Bondor Foods.

The partnership between Steakholder Foods and Bondor Foods, an established frozen food manufacturer and a major distributor in the institutional market, was formalized earlier this month. Under the agreement, Steakholder Foods will supply its proprietary protein premixes to be used in Bondor Foods’ new line of white fish and salmon patties. This collaboration confirms the successful implementation of Steakholder Foods’ commercialization strategy and demonstrates the industry’s confidence in the company’s technological solutions.

Arik Kaufman, CEO of Steakholder Foods, said: “We are extremely excited to announce this first purchase order from Bondor Foods, which represents a major milestone for our company. As forecasted, we have secured the company’s first income in 2024. This not only validates the commercial viability of our innovative products but also initiates our first revenue stream, as our products transition into full-scale production. We continue to expand our commercial endeavors, engaging with global manufacturers and distributors within the alternative protein food market, and look forward to solidifying this and our other planned revenue streams, such as three-dimensional printing machines.”

In addition to the current delivery, Steakholder Foods plans to further expand its commercial activities by working with global manufacturers and distributors in the field of alternative proteins. Another focus is on the development and distribution of 3D printing machines specifically designed for the production of food products with alternative proteins. These machines are designed to enable precise and efficient manufacturing processes in order to meet the increasing demands of the food industry.

The successful collaboration with Bondor Foods underlines the growing importance of alternative proteins and the role of advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing in modern food production. With the first sales in 2024, Steakholder Foods is taking an important step towards scaling and commercial success in a promising market.
