Stratasys plans to demonstrate at Formnext 2025 how additive manufacturing can be purposefully integrated into development and production chains. Under the motto “Get Serious About Additive,” the company addresses requirements from aerospace, automotive, medical technology, and industry—from functional prototyping and tooling to series production.

“The ‘Get Serious About Additive’ theme underscores our dedication to driving the adoption of additive manufacturing by meeting customer demands for certified materials, validated workflows, and proven applications that deliver reliability, traceability, and repeatability,” said Rich Garrity, Chief Business Unit Officer, Stratasys. “Whether for functional prototyping or production-scale applications, Stratasys’ multiple solutions provide flexibility, speed, and reliability that manifest the promised value of industrial 3D printing.”

At its booth in Hall 12.1 (D 121), Stratasys will showcase around 200 parts across five processes and more than 50 materials. New is ToughONE WhiteS for J3 and J5 PolyJet systems, a material aimed at combinations of toughness and compliance. In addition, Stratasys will demonstrate P3 Silicone 25A on the DLP platform: silicone components with high tear resistance, elongation, and proven biocompatibility. Together with Addion GmbH, live training sessions with Digital Anatomy Models for eyelid surgery will take place. The 3D-printed models are intended to simulate real procedures, including rare pathologies, thereby replacing the use of cadavers or animal models.

The presentation situates Stratasys’ technology portfolio—FDM, PolyJet, SAF, P3/DLP, and stereolithography—in production-relevant scenarios such as tool inserts, fixtures, or small series. Expert talks deepen the practice: on Tuesday, November 18, Dave Hayden will speak at 11:00 a.m. on “Serious Additive Manufacturing.” Also on Tuesday, Mauro Nodari (Techno) and Daniel Princ will explain at 3:10 p.m. the path from development to scalable manufacturing. On Thursday, November 20, Dan Burge (Slate Automotive) and Fadi Abro will report at 12:40 p.m. on FDM in modular vehicle concepts. Formnext takes place from November 18 to 21, 2025 at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds.
