Stratasys mediates the sale of several F3300 3D printers

In a short period of time, Stratasys has already received more than 30 orders for the F3300 industrial 3D printer from performance-driven organisations such as BAE, Sikorsky, the US Department of Defense and the US Department of Energy.

The F3300 platform offers benefits that enable organisations to overcome manufacturing challenges such as supply chain disruptions, building decentralised manufacturing processes and meeting sustainability requirements. The printer is specifically designed to produce high-quality, durable thermoplastic parts with high accuracy and repeatability. Another benefit is the improved production speed, which has been increased by up to 25 per cent compared to previous models.

“The F3300 changes the status quo for part production in our shop,” said Ryan Henigan, Production Engineer, GoEngineer. “Parts can be turned around faster thanks to the generational improvements and make FDM parts a compelling option on a scale we couldn’t offer up before. The F3300’s flexibility makes our operators be more efficient, freeing up their time to better meet our business demands.”

The F3300 is characterised by its innovative features, including a four-head system that reduces downtime and easily replaceable, large-volume material spools. These features make it particularly interesting for manufacturers who prioritise flexibility and cost-effectiveness. The option of multiple mould printing also opens up new production potential.

“There has been great interest in the F3300 from the day we announced it, and that has translated to strong demand,” said Rich Garrity, Chief Industrial Business Officer, Stratasys. “Customers have been impressed with the speed of the F3300 allowing them to fulfill internal orders at rates fused filament fabrication (FFF) has historically not been able to achieve. Many customers have commented on the impressive industrial design and how easy it is to operate. The new capabilities, such as multi-tool printing, have created a strong interest in this innovative printer.”

The F3300 will be on display at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago from 9 to 14 September.
