Tangible Engineering presents Solidator 8K Resin 3D printer at Formnext 2024

Tangible Engineering is presenting the new Solidator 8K Resin 3D printer at Formnext 2024. The device is specially designed for industrial requirements and offers high precision thanks to high-resolution 8K technology. With a large build volume of 330 × 185 × 400 mm and a build speed of up to 9,157 cm³ per hour, the printer is ideal for series production and large-format applications.

The Solidator 8K supports a growing range of 25 specialized materials, including Solidator Tough for durable parts and a flame-retardant material for safety-critical areas. In addition, Solidator Studio X software has been introduced to optimize workflow and ensure the highest dimensional accuracy for complex projects. The software is seamlessly integrated with the printer and facilitates its use in various industries.

The materials presented cover applications in the automotive industry, medical technology, electronics manufacturing and jewelry production. For example, the Solidator Cast material enables precise casting applications in the jewelry industry, while ESD materials are used in electronics manufacturing for sensitive components. Orthopaedic insoles and splints benefit from materials that combine stability and comfort.

Tangible Engineering emphasizes the versatility of the Solidator 8K. The printer is equally suitable for the production of robust robotic components, durable consumer goods and thermally optimized injection moulds. The new software can also be used to efficiently design lattice structures, enabling weight savings while maintaining strength.

The company invites visitors to experience the Solidator 8K at Formnext in Hall 11.1, Stand E21. In addition to the printer, application examples and material innovations that address modern manufacturing requirements will also be on display.
