TEAMZIEREIS GmbH is expanding its dental technology production by using the Lumia X1 3D printer from Axtra3D. With this step, the company is underlining its goal of ensuring the highest standards of precision, efficiency and quality in the manufacture of dental products. Founded in 2000 by Ralph Ziereis, TEAMZIEREIS specializes in the production of orthodontic and prosthetic components. The company uses modern processes such as 3D printing, milling and laser sintering, supported by precise CAD/CAM software.
With the Lumia X1, TEAMZIEREIS is strengthening its production capacities and can respond to the increasing demand for high-quality dental products. The Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS) technology developed by Axtra3D offers a combination of faster production time, improved surface quality and a wider variety of materials.
Steffen Reinfurth, VP of Global Dental at Axtra3D said, “Our partnership with TEAMZIEREIS represents a significant step forward in dental production. The Lumia X1 is a turnkey solution that increases efficiency, precision, quality and material diversity and takes digital dentistry to a new level”.
Thanks to this technology, TEAMZIEREIS can now cover an extended range of applications and significantly increase production output. The innovative printing technology makes it possible to produce models with removable dies for exocad models and significantly improve the surface quality of splints compared to previous processes.
“With its unique printing technology and new level of accuracy, Axtra’s Lumia X1 enables us to expand our model production for the first time with removable dies for exocad models. Furthermore, we are able to improve significant the surface quality of splints compared to our current technology. Overall, we can increase our daily output by almost 100%,” said Ralph Ziereis, CEO of TEAMZIEREIS.
The strategic decision to integrate the Lumia X1 into the production process will help TEAMZIEREIS to increase production efficiency while meeting quality requirements in dental technology. By using this advanced technology, the company can continue to offer innovative, high-precision solutions for the dental industry and remains a reliable partner for customized dental prosthetics and orthodontic solutions.
