The TekBot 3D printer, an affordable desktop device developed by Christian Frankenstein from Germany-based TekLab, is currently available as kit for pre-order on Indiegogo.
Featuring a build volume of 170 x 170 x 220 mm, TekBot can print objects with a layer hight of 0.1 to 0.4 mm using PLA, PETG, TPU and other materials. The device is equipped with standard components such as the J Head Hotend and Ramps 1.4, that can quickly and easily replaced if necessary.
While the early bird version is still available for $ 214, prices for the kit including the LCD display start at $ 245. Pledging $ 15, you can get all printable parts as STL files along with a construction manual for the printer.
