The Kreator Motion 3D Printer

Poland-based 3D Printer manufacturer 3DKreator plans to expand further into international markets with the second generation of their Kreator Motion 3D printer.

The desktop device has a large build volume of 200 x 200 x 190 mm and prints with a layer resolution of up to 60 micron at a maximum speed of 130 mm/s. Equipped with a heated build plate, the Kreator Motion can handle a variety of materials including ABS, PLA, PET, Nylon; TPE, copperFill, Laywood, flexible filaments as well as materials that change colour when exposed to light or temperature. A closed filament compartment keeps the materials free of dust and moisture.

The printer featuring a closed build area was created to be a simple and intuitive device. It is equipped with an SD card slot, USB connection as well as a WIFI ready module.

The 3D printer was first built at the beginning of 2014, as the result of a collaboration between the department of mechatronics of the faculty of electrical engineering at Silesian University of Technology, and a scientific research team of engineers from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The prototype had its debut at the European Parliament in May 2014. 3DKreator was also showcasing their updated device a last year’s Euromold in Düsseldorf.
