The free software Tinkerine Suite is out in version 2.0 with some pretty neat features.
Besides the completely overhauled user interface the free suite comes with additional cool features.
First there is the improved and faster slicing speed. The team changed the the slicing engine completely and is extremely happy with the results:
“Models that would take an hour to slice (or wouldn’t slice at all!) can now be done in a matter of minutes.”
Moreover, a function that allows you to select a point in the printing process where the print will stop automatically, was added. So you can change the filament to change the color or even mix two completely different kinds of materials.
