3D Evaluate launches the TOP 100 AM directory that selects and presents the world’s most innovative software, hardware, and 3D material printing companies, which are aiming to accelerate the adoption of AM in manufacturing processes. This includes a unique stock index called 3DE-10 that tracks the stock performance of 10 leading 3D printing companies listed on exchanges in the United States.
3D Evaluate is an initiative of 3D Alliances – an award-winning business consulting firm that supports the business growth of innovative 3D printing companies. The company was founded seven years ago by Gil Lavi, an industry veteran with over 17 years of activities in the AM industry, working together with global companies such as Stratasys, PostProcess, Carbon, 3YOURMIND, Xact Metal and others.
As the additive manufacturing industry continues to grow, more players are entering the market with new solutions that aim to accelerate the use of additive manufacturing in real production. With this progression comes a fundamental shift in what it means to be an innovative company in this rapidly changing marketplace.
The 3D Evaluate TOP 100 AM was created to increase the visibility of software, hardware, and materials 3D printing companies in the industry, that developed unique solutions that have the potential to expand the use of additive manufacturing in producing specially-designed and tailor-made 3D printed products. In practice, the listed software, hardware and materials solutions are complimentary to each other, and are the pillars of the evolving end-to-end AM workflow.
In addition to the directory, 3D Evaluate created a new stock index called 3DE-10 that tracks the stock performance of 10 leading 3D printing companies listed on exchanges in the United States. The industry performance index is calculated based on the weighted average return of the top 10 industry market leaders in terms of public valuation.
“We are seeing how this market continue to grow, when most of the companies that joined in the past several years are focusing on developing solutions for manufacturing end-use parts/final products. The TOP 100 AM directory offer innovative companies the opportunity to present their solutions, and the way they are seeing the evolution of this industry for the next decade. I believe today there are globally over 1,000 companies involved in developing different 3D printing solutions, and there is a need to put a spotlight the ones that are contributing the most.
As for our new 3DE-10 stocks index, it tracks the stock’s performance of 10 leading publicly traded companies that are almost solely involved in selling 3D printing solutions and services. It was created to provide the AM community and investors in 3D printing stocks a reality check anchor of where we are when examining the progress of an industry that set to revolutionize traditional manufacturing” Said Gil Lavi, CEO of 3D Alliances.
