Trideo expands 3D printing capacities in North America

The Argentinian company Trideo, which specializes in industrial FDM 3D printers, is continuing its expansion and tapping into new markets in North America. Since its founding in 2015, Trideo has established itself in Latin America, offering both large-format printing solutions and additive manufacturing services for industries such as metallurgy, IoT and mechanical engineering. With the opening of a subsidiary in Mexico, the company is now expanding its presence and positioning itself for further growth.

One of the key products in Trideo’s portfolio is the Big T, a large-format 3D printer with a build volume of 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm. This machine is designed in particular for industrial applications where large, customized components are required. In addition to FDM systems with IDEX technology, which enables the parallel printing of two components, Trideo also develops printers with heated chambers to process high-performance plastics such as Ultem or carbon fiber-reinforced composites. One example of this is the T600 HT model, which offers a heated printing chamber with up to 200 °C.

“Our expansion into Mexico is a strategic step to bring our innovative 3D printing solutions closer to a growing market,” says Nicolas Berenfeld, CEO of Trideo. “We are committed to offering cutting-edge technology and contributing to the development of additive manufacturing in the region.”

Another focus is on sustainable production technologies. Trideo integrates pellet extrusion systems into its printers, making it possible to use recycled materials as a printing raw material. This not only reduces costs, but also contributes to the circular economy in additive manufacturing.

“3D printing not only optimizes industrial production but also provides a sustainable alternative to traditional methods. Our goal is to keep innovating and offer solutions that enhance both efficiency and sustainability,” emphasizes Simon Gabriac, CTO of Trideo.

With its expansion into Mexico, Trideo aims to meet the growing demand for 3D printing solutions in the North American manufacturing industry. The expansion is part of a long-term strategy to open up international markets. With new manufacturing capacities and sustainable technologies, Trideo aims to further consolidate its position in the industry.
