At Formnext 2024, ULT presented the new AMF 60 gas purification system, a compact, modular extraction and filtration system specially developed for use with inert gases such as nitrogen, argon or helium. The system is designed for stand-alone operation as well as for integration into existing production environments and is aimed at applications in additive manufacturing and other high-tech industries.
The AMF 60 is characterized by its high filtration performance, which is ensured by a HEPA H14 filter. With a filtration rate of over 99.995 %, the cleaned air is safely returned to the work area, reducing operating costs. The system also offers passivatable storage filters that enable contamination-free handling of flammable or harmful particles. Thanks to the long service life of the filters and an energy-efficient design, the device contributes to cost efficiency in production.
The system is controlled either via a CULT interface for stand-alone use or by integration into an I/O system for automated processes. The CULT controller enables functions such as time control and data logging, while optional extensions such as process parameter monitoring or customizable post-filters increase flexibility. The AMF 60 thus offers a high degree of adaptability to meet various industrial requirements.
With a footprint of just 450 × 640 mm, the system is extremely space-saving and can be used in mobile applications. Its UL conformity and the wide input voltage range of 90 to 250 VAC also make it suitable for use worldwide without additional adaptations. ULT emphasizes that the AMF 60 not only meets technical requirements, but also contributes to safety and sustainability in sensitive production environments.
