Vienna-based UpNano GmbH, which specializes in high-precision 3D printing solutions using two-photon polymerization (2PP), is introducing the NanoOne green, a new model in its successful NanoOne series. The NanoOne green is equipped with a 515 nm green laser, which enables a 30 percent increase in resolution compared to conventional 780 nm lasers.
The NanoOne green’s green laser enables the processing of transparent and non-fluorescent materials, which are advantageous in optics and microfluidics. In these areas, conventional photoinitiators often reach their limits, especially when fluorescence is not desired. The new wavelength also extends material compatibility and opens up photochemicals that are inaccessible to lasers in the near infrared range (780 nm).
“With the NanoOne green, we have expanded our NanoOne product line with a device with ultra-high resolution properties that paves the way for a wide range of industrial applications,” says Bernhard Küenburg, CEO of UpNano.
All models in the NanoOne series feature UpNano’s adaptive resolution technology, which enables dynamic adjustment of the laser beam. This allows either fast printing of large-area structures or extreme resolution for high-precision components – both decisive factors for flexible use in research and industry.
The NanoOne green remains a compact system and integrates proven features of the series, such as powerful vibration damping and an integrated clean room with HEPA filter. Compatible with UpNano’s accessories, such as special holders and heatable trays, the NanoOne green meets the needs of a wide range of applications. Its high resolution and flexibility make it the ideal choice for the production of microstructures in the fields of prototyping, biocompatible printing and microfluidics.
With the NanoOne green, UpNano strengthens its position as a supplier of high-performance 2PP 3D printers and underlines its claim to innovation, which is demonstrated by comprehensive material and technology developments at a global level.
