“Globally innovative additive printer” initiative taken on by VERASHAPE has been chosen from over 650 projects from around the world to be a part of “Bringing tech&science closer to people” campaign. It promotes innovative creators and their world changing solutions. The campaign is supported by over 70 international partners like: UNESCO, CANAL+ Discovery, National Geographic, Harvard Business Review, Polpharma i Lotos.
“Bringing tech&science closer to people” campaign organized by Interne.st and Centre for Innovation and Technology Commercialization has been granted the honorary patronage of Ministry of Economical Development and National Centre for Research and Development.
“Bringing tech&science closer to people” campaign aims to build worldwide awareness and recognition on the latest breakthroughs in science and technology. This campaign also will help to showcase science and technology innovations as a main lever for progress and sustainable development, and will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, experiences and the sharing of best practices in science – says Irina Bokova, Director General of UNESCO.
The best projects are presented on www.closertopeople.com. VERASHAPE has been realizing the goal of enhancing FFF 3D Printing technology, the project is showcased in the “New materials & Manufacturing” category.
Being a part of „Bringing tech&science closer to people” is a great chance to present work effects of our R&D department. It is also an opportunity to popularize 3D Printing technology, which will soon be limited only by our imagination – says Tomasz Szymański, founder and the CEO of Verashape.
In the next 3 months the projects will be presented to experts from the world of science and technology as well as the representatives from business and industry. The organizers’ main focus is education with the aim to create the possibility to develop promoted projects.

A contest for the leaders of each category will last till the end of February. The creators of innovations promoted in “Bringing tech&science closer to people” campaign will also have the chance to showcase their projects during Hannover Messe 2017, IMPACT 17 as well as other technological events.
