VOXELTEK: 3D printing and digital processes for modern dentistry

The Hungarian manufacturer VOXELTEK is one of the pioneers of photopolymer 3D printing technology in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its foundation in 2013, the company has focused on dentistry and offers a comprehensive portfolio of products, including the intraoral scanner VOXEL.IOS, the 3D printer MARK IV and specially developed biocompatible resins. What is special about VOXELTEK’s approach, however, is not so much the hardware as the integration of the entire process chain into everyday dental practice.

A central component of this concept is the VOXELTEK.live platform. This enables dentists to scan the oral cavity and produce the required dental applications within a single appointment. Thanks to real-time support from VOXELTEK specialists, there is no need for time-consuming familiarization with complex CAD programs. This makes it much easier to get started with additive manufacturing.

The workflow is seamless: After scanning the oral cavity with the VOXEL.IOS scanner, the data is uploaded directly to the platform. There, an expert quickly creates the print file, which is then produced on the MARK IV 3D printer. This works with high precision and a printing speed of up to 50 millimetres per hour. Thanks to the use of certified medical resins, safe and durable products are created that can be used immediately after minimal post-processing.

With this offering, VOXELTEK creates a bridge between dentistry and 3D printing. The focus on intuitive processes and direct support makes it possible for dentists to use state-of-the-art technologies without having to undergo extensive technical training. This lowers the barriers to the use of 3D printing in dentistry and at the same time opens up new possibilities for efficient patient care.
