On June 11, 2026, Berlin.Industrial.Group. will host the third edition of WAAMathon at the Estrel Hotel in Berlin. The conference is the only event dedicated exclusively to Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) and its growing significance for industrial applications in mechanical and plant engineering.

The program will feature practical case studies and research insights on current developments, process optimization, material diversity, and industrial use cases. WAAMathon aims to bring together users, thought leaders, and decision-makers in additive manufacturing to foster knowledge exchange. The event is supported by partners from industry and research.

WAAM technology uses an electric arc to melt metal wire and deposit it layer by layer – a process that is gaining importance for the production and repair of large-scale metal components.

The preliminary program and registration details are available at waamathon.de.
