Wayland Additive partners with 3Dees Industries for distribution of eBeam 3D printing in Eastern Europe

Wayland Additive has announced that it will partner with 3Dees Industries to distribute Calibur3 electron beam 3D printing systems in Central and Eastern Europe. 3Dees Industries, an established provider of additive manufacturing solutions, is active in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine and specializes in the industrial application of these technologies. The co-founder and CEO of 3Dees, Daniel Adam, brings with him a deep understanding of the specific requirements of the industry thanks to his many years of experience in aerospace engineering.

Co-founder and CEO of 3Dees, Daniel Adam, said: “I have been working with various additive technologies for more than two decades and I fully appreciate how they can foster innovation for industry and bring key efficiencies to manufacturing operations. The NeuBeam process from Wayland advances this even further for metal AM applications offering, as it does, an eBeam process with much greater productivity and more opportunities with more materials that are not traditionally used with AM. I am excited to work with the Wayland team and to share the benefits of the Calibur3 system across our network in Europe.”

3Dees operates sites in Prague and Brno as well as an application center for additive manufacturing in Ostrava. In Slovakia, 3Dees works closely with the Technical University in Košice to promote a close connection between science and industry. 3Dees’ involvement in Ukraine, where the company has been providing additive technologies since 2021, is also particularly noteworthy. Especially in the current situation, 3Dees is providing valuable support for the industry there.

Peter Hansford, CRO at Wayland Additive, commented: “This announcement about Wayland’s partnership with 3Dees Industries is a testament to the increasing demand we are seeing for Calibur3 and the capabilities of our NeuBeam process. It is gratifying to be able to work with Daniel at 3Dees, with their brilliant network and commitment to advancing AM technology across industry. Daniel truly gets the benefits that Calibur3 offers and he is a true inspiration, I am delighted to be working with him and progressing machine sales into Eastern Europe.”

Interested visitors can find out more about the possibilities of Calibur3 technology at the Formnext 2024 trade fair. Wayland Additive will be represented in hall 12.0, stand 139.
