Xenia Materials, a global manufacturer of high-performance thermoplastics, is presenting its new line of 3D printing filaments at Formnext 2024. Formnext in Frankfurt is one of the most important trade fairs for additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies. With the new “3DF Materials” collection, Xenia is expanding its portfolio of filaments for the FDM/FFF process and offers materials that are tailored to the special requirements of modern applications.
The 3DF Materials include a range of innovative filaments that combine high performance and sustainability. One of the outstanding products is the XECARB SL 3DF, a filament with a 100% bio-based, 15% carbon fiber-reinforced PA11 matrix. This combination ensures high strength combined with low weight, which is supported by Xenia’s SuperLight technology. Another interesting material is XELIGHT 3DF, which combines PEBA with the advantages of flexibility and impact strength and achieves a density of just 0.87 g/cm³.
Xenia also offers the XECARB 45 3DF filament, which is based on 10% carbon fiber-reinforced PVDF and is suitable for demanding industrial applications. This material is characterized by high structural integrity and chemical resistance. Another contribution to sustainability is XEGREEN 23 3DF, a filament made from 100% recycled polymers and offering high mechanical strength with 20% carbon fiber-reinforced PETG.
With these new filaments, Xenia Materials is underlining its focus on innovative and environmentally friendly solutions. The materials have been specially developed to achieve high performance in the field of FDM printing with a low environmental footprint. Experts and industry professionals are invited to discover the new filaments at Formnext 2024 in Hall 12.1 at Stand G48 and learn more about the applications and benefits of these materials.
