The Israeli 3D printing specialist XJet has announced a partnership with the US-based company Complete AM to expand its metal and ceramic printing solutions in North America. Complete AM, headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, will act as a full-service partner for sales, applications, and technical support of XJet systems in the United States and Canada.

At the center of the cooperation is the metal additive manufacturing system Carmel 1400M, which is based on XJet’s NanoParticle Jetting (NPJ) technology. This enables the precise processing of metallic and ceramic materials through the targeted jetting of nanoscale particles in a liquid carrier medium. According to XJet, this results in very dense and homogeneous materials with high surface quality, making them particularly suitable for complex, technically demanding components.

Complete AM was founded by industry experts Rory Jackson and Charlie Christensen Phillips and brings decades of experience in additive manufacturing. The company combines expertise across various processes, including Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Stereolithography (SLA), Digital Light Processing (DLP), Binder Jetting, and Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). With the integration of NPJ technology, Complete AM is expanding its portfolio for the first time to include a direct material jetting process, complementing both its own production services and its consulting and sales business.

“Complete AM was founded on the principle of bridging the gap between impressive technology and the long-term support customers actually need,” said Rory Jackson, CEO of Complete AM. “The Carmel 1400M represents the pinnacle of NPJ technology, and we are excited to not only utilize this system for our bureau services but to champion XJet’s expansion in North America by providing the hands-on engineering expertise and reliable service the industry demands.”

With this move, XJet strengthens its position in the North American market while simultaneously creating a network that covers the entire lifecycle of its systems—from implementation to operation.
