Israel-based company XJet has just secured a funding round of $ 25 million led by Israeli-Chinese private equity fund Catalyst CEL and software company Autodesk through its Spark Investment Fund.
Earlier this year, XJet has introduced their NanoParticle Jetting technology, that uses solid metal nanoparticles that are suspended in liquid ink in sealed cartridges. An ultra-fine layer of liquid metal droplets and supporting nanoparticles is deposited onto the build area. According to XJet, this technology produces metal parts with the same ease and versatility of inkjet printing without compromising throughput.
