Taiwanesse consumer 3D printer manufacturer XYZprinting has teamed up with software company Dassault Systèmes to integrate a 3D printing solution for their 3D printers into SOLIDWORKS.
This enables users to 3D print designs created in SOLIDWORKS directly on a selected range of XYZprinting’s devices and therefore creates a seamless and streamlined 3D printing user experience.
“We are encouraged that 3D printing companies such as XYZprinting are planning to take steps to elevate the software experience; this will not only make 3D printing easier for users, but more accessible given the broad range of products and affordability such as those from XYZprinting,” said Nicholas Iwaskow, Director, Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks, Alliances & Partnerships. “The combination of our technologies leverages both of our experiences in the 3D printing space.”
“We’re proud to partner with Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS to deliver a streamlined 3D printing experience for consumers,” said Simon Shen, CEO of XYZprinting and New Kinpo Group. “Together, our partnership with SOLIDWORKS revolutionizes the traditional consumer’s 3D printing workflow. With a focus on 3D printing software integration, leveraging XYZprinting’s product suite and SOLIDWORKS’ software, our partnership delivers an enhanced 3D printing experience to consumers.”
