YouTuber presents 3D-printed loom

The developer and YouTuber Fraens is known for his detailed 3D-printed replicas of industrial machines. With his latest project, an almost completely 3D-printed loom, he impressively demonstrates how far additive manufacturing can go in mechanical engineering.

Technically, the machine impresses with its precision and complexity. Visually, the loom sets clear accents: Three main colors structure the gears, levers and frame, while two-color prints on the end caps give the device a clean, professional look. Despite the functional focus of the project, the aesthetics stand out positively.

However, the project required a significant investment of time and resources. Eight pressure beds full of individual parts, supplemented by screws, bearings and washers, make assembly a challenge. The models are available for a fee, which is understandable given the effort and attention to detail.

He presents his development on YouTube. You can also find more details about the project on his website. The models are available via Cult3D and Etsy for 38 and 42 euros respectively.
