CyBe Construction announced the release of its 3D printable concrete material for early 2016, while the company is working on obtaining a certification for their ProTo 3DP Concrete 3D Printer by the European Union.
Set to revolutionise the construction business, founder Berry Hendriks started to work on concrete 3D printing technology in 2013. With the ProTo 3DP now ready for commercial applications, CyBe is seeking approval from the EU, so the concrete 3D printer can be legally used on-site by construction companies.
Meanwhile, the Dutch company plans to release a rapidly-drying cement material for 3D printing applications, which is said to fully cure in under 24 hours and allows for creating freeform designs without any support structures.
