Arduino Based Robotic Lawn Mower Could Make Your Garden-Work Much Easier

Robotic lawn mowers have been around for a long time now but are still not easily affordable.

As makers find workarounds to make nearly every pice of technology affordable, they didn‘t stop at garden-work. Andreas Haeuser build a robotic lawn mower just using 3D printing, except for electronics and batteries.

The lawn mower will stay in an area you can select by putting a wire into the ground, a so called BWF (“boundary wire fence”). The batteries Andreas chose keeps the Ardumower on power for 500m².

For 9.99€ or 12.95$ you can download the complete manual and all 46 STL files to build an Ardumower yourself. You can find more work from Andreas Haeuser at his homepage.
