Nikon SLM Solutions has announced the appointment of Dr. Brent Stucker as Chief Engineer for North America, effective June 1, 2024.
Nikon SLM Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Brent Stucker as Chief Engineer for North America, effective June 1, 2024. With over 30 years of experience in additive manufacturing, Dr. Stucker will play a key role in the company’s continued development and operational growth.
Dr. Stucker has made notable accomplishments in his career, including innovative contributions to additive manufacturing during his professorship at universities in Utah, Finland, Kentucky and Rhode Island. As co-founder of the successful AM technology company 3DSIM, he has been instrumental in advancing the field. His expertise was particularly evident during his time as Chief Scientist & Senior Vice President and later as Chief Technology Officer at 3D Systems, where he was instrumental in advancing the technology direction.
Prior to joining Nikon SLM Solutions, Dr. Stucker served as Chief Technology Strategist at Wohlers Associates. There he led numerous organizations in refining their technology strategies and helped them strengthen their presence in the marketplace. His leadership at Wohlers Associates exemplifies his ability to influence technology development on a global scale.
In addition, Dr. Stucker is recognized as co-author of the most widely used textbook on additive manufacturing, which is used in over 600 universities worldwide.
