Eplus3D introduces EP-M2050 metal 3D printer with 36 lasers

With the large-format EP-M2050, Eplus3D presents a powerful multi-laser system for industrial metal 3D printing. The machine is based on a 6×6 laser array with a total of 36 synchronized galvanometers. As an option, the number of lasers can be increased to up to 64 in an 8×8 matrix. With a build volume of 2050 x 2050 x 1100 mm and an adjustable build height of up to 2000 mm, the EP-M2050 enables the production of large-format precision components.

The flexibility of the powder bed-based system is reflected in the choice of materials – from titanium and aluminum alloys to stainless steels and hot-work steels. The coating application range of 20-120 µm also meets the demanding requirements of the aerospace industry.

Like all large-format LPBF systems from Eplus3D, the EP-M2050 can be connected to a closed sieve tower system, ensuring maximum operating safety with reduced downtime and material waste.

The 36-laser system follows on from the successful market launch of the 16-laser EP-M1550 model last year. The development of the currently most powerful LPBF system is based on specific customer requirements. With the EP-M2050 multi-laser system, Eplus3D is setting new productivity standards for demanding industrial sectors such as aerospace. The precise large-format printing promises enormous time and cost savings while maintaining the highest component quality.
