Huge 3D Printed Jaguar Hits the Sea on Billionaire’s Yacht

Materialise has 3D printed an incredible 4 meter (13.6 ft) long and 2 meter (6.5 ft) tall jaguar, that was soon after mounted onto the bowsprit of a luxury yacht.

After 3D printing the separate parts on Materialise’s Mammoth stereolithography machine, they were given a metallic coat, not only for the looks but also to withstand the natural elements it will encounter on the sea.

The luxury yacht belongs to the Pakistani-American billionaire and businessman Shad Khan, who is also owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL. The KISMET is available for charter for € 1.2 Million and boasts six bedrooms, three decks, a helipad as well as as private sundeck with a jacuzzi and a pool.
