Objective 3D Opens Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Melbourne

Australia’s first commercial 3D printing factory was opened by Objective 3D to manufacture 3D printed parts for various industries and sectors.

Located in Carrum Downs, a suburb of Melbourne, the Advanced Manufacturing Centre is equipped with over 15 3D printers by Stratasys as well as other appliances for finishing. Managing Director Matt Minio addressed around 100 guests that were invited to the official opening of the facility on October 10th:

“We can produce high quality products, high value products, straight off the 3D printer, and that’s what Australian manufacturing really needs to specialise in moving forwards.”

Objective 3D is Distributor for Stratasys 3D printer and offers advanced manufacturing facilities through RedEye,  a division of Stratasys and provider of rapid prototyping and digital manufacturing.
